Registration: March 1 – April 1

T-Ball
  • What:  An introduction to baseball with a focus on fun and the most basic elements of the game.
  • Who:  Boys and girls; 4-6 years old
  • When & Where:  Wednesday evenings from early May to late June at the Town Park Game
  • Time: 6:00pm
T-Shirt
  • What: Continued introduction to baseball with a focus on fun and the basic elements of the sport and the rules that govern it.
  • Who: Co-ed (boys & girls); 7-8 years old
  • When: Monday and Friday evenings from mid-April to late June
  • Where: Home games are at the Town Park.
  • Time: 6:00pm (unless otherwise noted)
Minor Baseball
  • What: Competitive baseball where players pitch to one another. Skills introduced at the T-Shirt level are honed and further developed.  There is an increased emphasis on positional play and learning the responsibilities of each position.  Games are umpired and standings are kept.
  • Who: Boys; 9-10 years old
  • When: Tuesday and Thursday evenings and occasional Saturday mornings from mid-April to late June
  • Where: Home games are at the Town Park.  Travel throughout Wayne County.
  • Time: 6:00pm (unless otherwise noted)

 

Major Baseball
  • What: Increasingly competitive baseball.  Positional play and the responsibilities of each position continue to be taught and game situations further explored.  Continued emphasis on skill development.
  • Who: Boys; age 11-12
  • When: Mondays and Wednesdays and occasional Saturday mornings from mid-April to late June.
  • Where: Home games at the Town Park.  Travel throughout Wayne County
  • Time: 6:00pm (unless otherwise noted)

 

Pony Baseball
  • What: Increasingly competitive baseball.  Positional play and the responsibilities of each position continue to be taught and game situations further explored.  Continued emphasis on skill development.
  • Who: Boys; Grade 7-8
  • When: TBD; mid-April to late June.
  • Where: Home games at the Town Park.  Travel throughout Wayne County
  • Time: 6:00pm (unless otherwise noted)

 

Twilight Softball
  • What: Competitive softball where players pitch to one another. Skills introduced at the T-Shirt level are honed and further developed.  There is an increased emphasis on positional play and learning the responsibilities of each position.  Games are umpired and standings are kept.

  • Where: Home games at Town Park.  Travel throughout Wayne County
  • Time: 6:00 pm (unless otherwise noted)

Age cut off for all programs is May 1st.

Volunteers are needed to help get our fields in shape for the upcoming baseball/softball season.

FOOD & BEVERAGE will be provided for all volunteers!

*Great opportunity for community service hours!

Opening Day!

Williamson Town Park

Sunday, May 6th; 12pm-3pm

The WRC would like to invite all registered participants and their families and friends for a day of fun! RSVP through team coach is REQUIRED for this event.

Our Opening Day events include: Team shirt pick up, MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Contest

Hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone – Hosted by Dan & Jason from Mark’s Pizzeria!

 

Rochester Red Wings Game Night

Williamson baseball and softball players, siblings and parents are welcome to attend the game!

Date to be determined.

Umps

Williamson Booster Club will reimburse the start up fee!

Equipment

All players will need a glove.  T-shirt and hat are provided for all players. Team bats and helmets are available for player use. Travel team players will need baseball pants of the color selected by the coach. Cleats are recommended at the travel level but not required. Thank you.
